May you have a speedy recovery. I tore my meniscus a few years back, but didn’t do surgery. (Pre-Affordable Care Act.) Took me one year to feel back to 100%. Be well! And write a BJJ book while your off!

Thanks brother. How does your knee feel now?

A BJJ book. What would I write about in particular? That’s the tough question. That and who would buy it, besides you? 😉

Oh, plenty would buy it. Your blog has tons of material already that just needs a narrative/conceptual arc 🙂 Shit, if Nic Gregoriades can make money selling a PDF – no cost to him except his labor, then you got this.

My knee is great. Only hiccup is I have a much harder time finishing triangles with that knee (left) than my right. Of course, I’m a righty so I’m sure it’s a combo of both. But I still do judo and am not hesitant with it – but it took a year — because I didn’t do the surgery.

        Keep us updated! Best. -Edrik

Hah, really? 10 years ago we were both laid up from BJJ with knee problems.

Thanks! I’m feeling great so far. Should only be a few more weeks of rehab.
