Last weekend 2 of my white belts went against each other at a tournament. It was a round robin format and they both still had 3 matches to go. I told them I didn’t want them to roll against one another and get to tired so I gave them a choice.
They could . . .
A. Just give the nod to the senor ranking belt.
Or
B. Have the match finished with a pro wrestling move.
They chose the second option. The only issue was that boston crabs aren’t legal in white belt divisions. Bullshit.
So I’m going to begin rolling next week and I am looking at different face mask options so I don’t re-injure my nose. If you have a moment, please take a look at the picture below and tell me if you think I should purchase A. B. or C. I’ve read some reviews and just want to see if anyone has any input or has possibly ever used one before.

If you’re from the United States you’ve probably experienced some unusually cold weather recently. Here in Louisville, KY the temperatures were down to -2 with some nasty winds. Needless to say, a lot of pipes inside people’s homes busted across the city. Yesterday in the gym one of my students came running out of the bathroom and told me water was everywhere. Yup, one of our pipes busted and being the head of the gym that I am, guess who cleaned it up? Running a small business is just all fun, right? My student got a kick out of it and took a picture of me.
The next picture is simply my new favorite coffee mug. Partly because the statement written across it is funny and partly because its true. I know, too much info.
