Slow Style of Lifting Builds Muscle & Doesn’t Ruining Your BJJ Training

Today’s video is a quick lifting tip with my coach Eli.

Over the last 3 years he’s been programming my diet and lifting routines and so I wanted to share a simple adjustment to some of your exercises that you could try out.

This adjustment will hit the muscle but allow you to use less weight to do it. Which as a BJJ practitioner I like since it allows me to load my joints a little less and still get a good lift in.

You’ll also be able to develop a bit more isometric strength by changing some of your lifts in the manner. This is great for Brazilian Jiu-jitsu since we need to have the ability to hold a push or a pull for multiple seconds at times.

So watch the video to get the tip and if you’d like to get more details on the Swole & Roll lifting program Eli and I put together just use the link below. https://www.chewjitsutraining.com/Swole

Chat with you next time.
